The new RTS-DataPak digital cellular Remote
Telemetry System uses packet or circuit-switched data
transmission over GSM and CDMA cellular networks
to transmit metering or telemetry data. RTS-DataPak
units use the same proven enclosure as the RTS-100
series and are designed for indoor or demanding
outdoor environments. Connection to metering equipment
is achieved via M2M industry-standard interface.
The RTS-DataPak remote telemetry system
is widely used by power companies and other industries
throughout this country and abroad. It is easily installed
where a standard phone line is not available or feasible.
Since the RTS-DataPak
units provide dial tone, ring-to-tip and ring
voltage, you can connect metering equipment with modems.
All RTS equipment is manufactured to rugged industrial-type
standards and can be used indoors or outdoors.
For areas
where commercial power is not available, difficult to
obtain, or cannot be used for safety reasons, TransTel
offers a solar-powered version of the RTS-DataPak
.
The
RTS-DataPak is manufactured under U.S. patent 7,110,778 and
other patents.
